Le Sud is the south block of our estate vineyard. It is southwest facing and at 300’ elevation. This Pinot Noir offers a little more weight with black cherries, clove and violets. An elegant, yet fuller bodied wine with a seemingly, never ending velvet finish. It ages with grace and will continue to develop great complexity for 10 to 12 years. Aged for 12 months in 80% new French Oak. The estate vineyard is 100% Jory soil planted with 42 year old Pommard clone.
